Default Charging Striker (W/D)

I used this build a lot in AB's during the weekend, and I loved it a lot:

Attributes:
strength 15 (11+1+3)
swordsmanship 11 (10+1)
tactics 5 (4+1)
earth prayers 9

I use sentinel's armor, and a pair of 15>50 ebon/zealous swords +30hp.

Skills:
Charging Strike (e)
Sever Artery
Gash
Final Thrust
Lion's Might
Vital Boon
Signet of Piety
<free slot> (I use res sig in RA)

Activate Vital Boon when engaging in a fight, use Signet of Piety to heal for 234hp every 8 seconds. Lion's Might is an extra 105 hp when you need it, the other skills speak for themselves. I'd like to hear some feedback, thanks in advance

Interesting, but some thoughts

you don't really need so much in Str to make the skill effective and you should pretty much reverse the stats on your weapon and str.You're probably better off running Glads armour as the energy will get you more mileage out of charging strike. Toss in Frenzy. I prefer Heal Sig to Lions might as well as there are a lot of cases where you'll want to the heal and won't have the adrenaline. But given you haev vital boon and signet of piety you really don't need another heal anyway. Put in an IAS like frenzy.

Frenzy isnt an option with charging strike, 10 energy every 5 sec is 2 much to handle. Healing sig would need you to invest a lot more in tactics, takes longer to cast and gives you an armor penalty while casting. And sentinel's armor is still better, +7 energy isnt any help at all in long fights, just use your zealous sword

Str does more than skills, every rank is another point of armor pen. Frenzy is also 8 seconds. You get more energy from it than it consumes with a zealous weapon vs a non evade/block target.

Strength is nigh useless imo you're better off putting more in your weapon for damage output and having about 11 in str. Heal sig is better than the new skill and furthermore I did say that you shouldn't bother with either given your dervish skills. With Glads and frenzy the energy is fine if used thoughtfully. Using sentinals also requires a commitment to str that is not worth it. I was under the impression that a few points of ap was not worth the loss of the damage output from your weapon skills.
